As a mechanic at Volvo Truck Center Denmark, you will be part of a global company that is a market leader in truck innovation.

With us, you will be part of a team of mechanics and apprentices, where together you will find the best solutions for the costumers in terms of repair and services of trucks under the Volvo brand. Your daily tasks will include:

• Service and repairs
• Installation of auxilary Equipment
• Troubleshooting with Volvo Tech Tool

We imagine that you as our new colleague

• is a trained mechanic, preferably a mechanic for lorries, agricultural machines, passenger’s cars or construction machinery etc.
• has experience in repairing either trucks or busses.
• can read and understand English and is used to working with IT.
• has a driver’s license for trucks and trailers.
• is a team player and willing to make an extra effort when the tasks require it.
• takes responsibility and works independently with a good overview.

Salary and working conditions

• Volvo Denmark has a collective agreement with Dansk Industri (The Confederation of Danish Industry) and the salary is therefore determined by the agreement.
• According to the agreement the wage is per hour and the hourly wage is 32 € per hour.
• Possibility of overtime pay if overtime is accrued.
• Employer paid pension.
• Working hours of 37 per week Monday to Friday but working hours may vary according to the local shift schedule.
• 5 weeks paid holiday.

Locations where you can work

Volvo Truck Center Denmark has several workshops in Denmark, and it is therefore possible to work as a mechanic in several places around the country. No matter where you work, you will be part of a team, where your new colleagues are experts in their respective field. We have a strong focus on high employee satisfaction, have a collective agreement and good staff conditions. We offer training and development opportunities at our own” Volvo Akademy”.
