IT Engineer – Production Applications Support Specialist (L2)

We are seeking 2 IT Engineers – Production Applications Support Specialists (L2).

Key responsibilities:

• Manage support tickets related to production applications.
• Provide advanced technical support (LEVEL 2) to users and systems, resolving production application issues.
• Replicate and document errors for escalation to development teams, system vendors, or manufacturers when needed.
• Collaborate with development, database, infrastructure, and other support teams to resolve complex problems.
• Support the implementation of updates, patches, and new features.
• Create and maintain technical manuals, user guides, and process documentation.
• Train end-users and Level 1 support teams.
• Propose improvements to support processes and user experience.
• Participate in implementing support and monitoring tools. Generate routine reports.
• Perform system reviews (GMP systems).
• Maintain regular contact and cooperation with application and solution providers.
• Provide cross-functional IT support to other departments.

Specific skills:

• Knowledge of databases and query languages (SQL, etc.).
• Familiarity with OS (Windows/Linux) and networking.
• Proficiency in monitoring/ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk, etc.).
• Knowledge of API/web service integration / Familiarity with support automation tools.

Required training:

• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Telecommunications, and Engineering.

Required experience:

• 2–5 years of technical support (applications/systems). Experience supporting enterprise applications/ Prior experience in Level 1 or 2 support roles.
  Experience in pharma or similar industries + digitalization projects.

Language skills:

• High English and Spanish.

• Salary 30.000€ – 40.000€ gross/year, commensurate with experience.
• Working hours: 40/week. 08:30h-17:30h. Public holiday work as required by client needs.
• Additional Duties: On-call shifts and travels to Europe. . Additional compensation for on-call shifts, public holiday work, and overtime.
• Travel-related costs to other sites than primary assigned location will be covered/reimbursed additionally.
