• install, program, commission, and troubleshoot BMS hardware, software, and field devices both on-site and remotely
• bench-test equipment, identify electronic faults, and carry out repairs to ensure system reliability
• configure and optimise BMS control strategies and sequences
• integrate Building Automation systems with IT networks, including configuration of highlevel protocols such as BACnet, MODBUS and others
• develop, review and update technical drawings, schematics, and as-built documentation • Coordinate with clients, consultants, team members and subcontractors during project delivery
• support project planning, site coordination, and progress tracking
• lead or support system handover and client training

• degree or Higher Diploma (MQF Level 5/6) in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Control Systems, or related field with 3–5 years’ experience in Building Automation / BMS or related systems
• strong understanding of HVAC systems and control strategies
• experience in BMS configuration and programming, including control logic and sequences of operation with the ability to read, review, and modify technical drawings, schematics, and I/O schedules
• good working knowledge of BMS protocols and integrations (e.g. BACnet/IP, Modbus TCP/IP) and experience integrating BMS with IT infrastructure and third-party systems
• good ICT skills, including use of engineering tools and standard software applications
• ability to troubleshoot complex system-level issues, not limited to device-level faults
• strong communication skills in English to liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams
• fuency in Maltese is considered a plus
• ability to work independently and take ownership of technical delivery on projects
• post may require on-call duties and out-of-office hours support
• valid local driving licence
