General Machine Operative

The role of General Operative works as part of the production/ picking line team, and will be responsible for operating and running machines to maximum efficiency and capacity. The successful candidate will also carry out quality checks during production and report any machinery or product issues.

General Operatives:

To operate machinery in line with guidelines and instructions given.

Liaise with external and internal maintenance staff to ensure all equipment is in perfect working order.

To control and maintain the quality inspection and checks.

To liaise with other members of staff at various production/picking stages

Operate Forklifts

Minimum Experienced Required (Years): 1

Minimum Qualification:Level 3 (incl Junior Cert)

Desirable:

Ability Skills:Communications, Manual

Competency Skills:Flexibility, Labouring, Teamwork, Working on own Initiative

Competency Skills:ForkLift Counter Balance, Manual Handling

Specialising In:forklift driving, line picking

On-site parking, 8 hour shift, Rotational shifts, Weekend availability, Overtime pay
