The EURES Slovakia network organized the International Job Fair EURES JOB DAY on 26 March 2026, once again confirming that personal contact with employers is the fastest way to success. The event offered visitors not only the opportunity to apply for jobs in Slovakia and in EU/EEA countries, but also to receive expert guidance on the labour market and employment opportunities across Europe.
Participation of Exhibitors and Job Offers
The international fair held in the M Arena in Prešov saw the participation of:
- 14 foreign exhibitors
- 28 Slovak employers
They offered visitors more than 2,000 job vacancies across all sectors, both at home and abroad.
Information about job opportunities and living conditions was provided by EURES advisers from the Czech Republic, Denmark, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, and Italy.
Accompanying Programme
The fair also featured professional presentations focused on:
- current trends in the European labour market,
- introductions of exhibitors,
- practical information for those interested in working in Slovakia or abroad.
Attendance and Results
Participation was free of charge and, for the first time, required online registration. The number of visitors reached 2,915. Exhibitors expressed interest in potentially concluding employment contracts with more than 450 applicants.
