Popis pracovného miesta:
This is a special school that includes residential care for children and young adults with a lot of complex health needs. Many are in wheelchairs, non verbal and fed by Enteral tube feeding (ETF) and there is a high level of medication involved. There are NHS staff on site. They can accommodate 40-50 residents and have some bungalows with house managers.
Your role would be in the central team as residential co-ordinator. It will involve more staff management such as scheduling rotas, supervision etc. than direct care work, although you need to have good and recent experience of working with children and young people with special needs and disabilities in a residential environment. You will have to be willing and able to take on administration tasks and have experience of working with medication. Some previous supervisory or management experience is essential.

•Qualification in either: Social Work, Social Pedagogy or similar

•Strong organisational skills
•Able to work on own initiative
•Physically able to undertake manual handling of children and young people
